Provisional Membership Requirements:
Provisional (first-year) members are accepted based upon board review, date of their application, and current Active membership size.
Provisional members are expected to fulfill all of the requirements of an Active member during the first year of membership, plus participate in one additional project, as outlined below:
- Volunteer with any of our sponsored organizations for at least 36 hours per League calendar year (June 1 – May 31).
- Attend 5 of 9 general meetings, usually held on the evening of the third Tuesday of each month (excluding June – August).
- Participate in one Provisional group service project, to be determined by the Provisional class in September.
- Attend at least one summer Provisional meet-and-greet event (dates to be announced via email following submission of application form).
Membership is finalized with a first year dues payment of $100 that is submitted in August. Dues for subsequent Active years are $75 and subject to change.
